Early life, career recalled
The actor was born in May 1965 in Kiryat Ata, Israel, to a Jewish family from Egypt and Algeria.
It didn’t take long for the talented Aboutboul to show his love for acting and other performing arts.
He started his acting career early and began his public career as an aspiring actor at the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts in Givatayim.
However, it wasn’t long until the 1980s Hebrew-language film Morning Star offered Aboutboul his debut performance on the silver screen at the ripe old age of 15.
Aboutboul then began his career in American cinema when he took on the supporting role of Nissem in Rambo III, which was the second sequel in the well-known series starring Sylvester Stallone.
