In a press conference livestreamed exclusively on X, Elon Musk unveiled his latest attention-fueled venture: a new political party called the America Party. There’s no website. No platform. No candidates. No X account. No actual party, really. Just Elon squinting into the void and deciding that America needs a reboot – this from a guy whose idea of social reform is letting everyone pay $84 a year for a blue check mark.
Standing beneath a banner that read “Make America Mars-Ready,” Musk laid out his visionary plan for a party that promises innovation, deregulation, massive spending cuts, and just the right amount of sci-fi dystopia.
Elon said at his streaming press conference, “We will eliminate the Department of Education and replace it with SuperGrok. We will abolish the IRS and beam your taxes to a Martian blockchain. And every American will receive a free Neuralink brain chip, so you can think your ballot directly into the cloud.”
The core platform of the America Party is simple:
- Mandatory Dogecoin-based economy
- A Tesla in every garage, an AI bot in every living room, and Starlink Wi-Fi in every office
- Bureaucracy replaced with polls on X
- AI judges to settle legal disputes within 90 seconds
And who are the Musketeers rallying behind Elon’s movement? A colorful coalition of crypto bros, tech libertarians, Joe Rogan fans, Joe Biden, Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney, and a suspicious number of Tesla bots disguised as human accounts.
Political analysts (who were lured to Elon’s press conference under the promise of free beer and pretzels) say the America Party will appeal to voters who think both parties are corrupt but also think “The Matrix” was a documentary. Early polling shows strong support among people who know nothing about politics and those who do and want to find a candidate who can be president with only 34% of the vote.
Asked if he was serious about running as the America Party’s candidate, Musk replied, “I’m not saying I’ll run for president… but I’ve already bought 20% of the White House on Zillow.”
