Police in southern New York have arrested two people for raping a 1-year-old child and making a video recording of the rape.
Grace E. Balthazor, 33, and Devin G. Lavalley, 37, have been charged with predatory sexual assault against a child and use of a child in a sexual performance.
New York State Police announced the arrest last week without providing any details of the investigation.
Lavalley and Balthazor were arraigned in an Elmira city court and remanded to jail without bond, pending future court dates.
The investigation is ongoing.
