A drive-by shooting outside a nightclub in Chicago has taken the lives of four people and wounded more than a dozen others.
The gunman is still at large as police attempt to determine whether this was a gang-related incident or a targeted attack, the Washington Post reported.
Officials are still trying to piece together the circumstances of the attack, but have little information to go on.
The shooting occurred outside of the Artis Restaurant and Lounge on the South Side of Chicago.
At the time, an album release party was happening for rapper Mello Buckzz.
It’s unclear whether there was any connection to the artist, and Chicago Police Superintendent Larry Snelling shared that there were no suspects to date.
Snelling encouraged anyone with information to call the police department so they could track down any leads.
He assured the public that the police would be out in “full force” during the Independence Day weekend.
The shooting occurred around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, just ahead of the Independence Day holiday.
