Donald and Melania share a kiss on Fourth of July

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump shared a kiss on the Fourth of July. 

The Daily Mail reports that they did so on the White House Truman Balcony on Friday evening.

Ordinarily, this would not be a story. However, there are some out there who try to claim that Melania does not really care for Donald. Rather, she is just after his money, or power, or whatever. Perhaps this kiss will put some of those rumors to bed.

Sealed with a kiss!

The Daily Mail reports on the circumstances of the kiss.

Per the outlet:

President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump were caught smooching from the Truman Balcony Friday ahead of Washington, D.C.’s grand Fourth of July fireworks display. The first couple kissed and hugged as supporters down below ‘awww’-ed the scene.

In case you are unable to view the above video, it begins with the First Couple standing in the balcony and with the president blowing kisses to the audience, which can be heard shouting such things as “four more years.”

Trump, at one point, pulls Melania closer to him. The two exchange a few words, and Donald quickly kisses the First Lady on the lips.

The First Lady then turns and smiles to the crowd.

“Goodnight, First Lady!”

Trump gave a speech in Iowa on Thursday, during which he revealed a nickname that he has for the First Lady, his wife.

At one point during the speech, he said:

I remember saying to our great first lady…’ he began, before adding: ‘I call her ‘First Lady,’ isn’t it terrible?’ I say, ‘Good night, First Lady, my darling,’ because it reminds me that I’m president,’

In addition to the kiss, Melania also caught the attent of many on Friday, during the celebration, by doing her husband’s favorite dance.

The New York Post reports:

First Lady Melania Trump celebrated the Fourth of July, which coincided with the signing of President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” by emulating her husband’s signature dance on the balcony of the White House. Melania struck a pose as she shimmied alongside the president while winding down their Independence Day celebrations. The “Trump Dance” consists of the commander in chief rhythmically punching the air while swaying his hips, oftentimes to songs featured at many of his campaign rallies like the “Y.M.C.A.”

This has allowed the American public to see a side of the First Lady that she usually does not show.
