Neitzel issued public declarations supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and defunding of police, but three years later, filed a federal lawsuit in U.S. District Court against the City of Seattle for damages and losses during the occupation, contending police didn’t do enough to prevent it while at the same time saying the company doesn’t seek to undermine the Capitol Hill Organized Protest.
