(NewsNation) — Explosive testimony dominated the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial, as the music mogul faced federal charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Combs was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was found not guilty of racketeering, which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison, and two counts of sex trafficking.
Prior to his arrest, Combs lived a life of multimillion-dollar luxury surrounded by some of the most recognizable names in the entertainment industry.
Combs helmed Bad Boy Records, had his own fashion line called Sean John, and was a heavy hitter in the liquor industry with brands Cîroc vodka and DeLeón tequila. He also hosted the most elite stars at his annual “White Parties” in the Hamptons and Beverly Hills — parties that may have been a setting for some of the alleged criminal activities.
Considering Combs’ former stature in Hollywood, it is no surprise that notable names were brought up in court and included in the jury question list to see if potential jurors have connections or strong opinions about the mentioned celebs.
Here are all the celebrities that have been mentioned in the Combs federal sex crimes case:
Ye, formerly Kanye West
West released a song, “Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine,” that features Combs and his son, Christian “King” Combs, shortly after his arrest. The song supposedly includes a taped phone conversation with Combs in prison.
He also appeared at Combs’ trial on June 13. Dressed all in white, when asked if he was there to support Combs, he said, “Yes.”
Mike Myers
Myers’ tie to Combs is unknown, if there is any at all. The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member made a joke about the rapper in his film “Austin Powers.”
The witness who took the stand under the pseudonym “Mia” mentioned that she had worked for the comedian prior to working with Combs.
Michelle Williams
The Destiny’s Child singer was mentioned on the first day of the trial without context.
Lauren London
The former partner of Nipsey Hussle said Combs helped her get through the funeral of the rapper.
Christian ‘King’ Combs and Justin Combs
Diddy’s son, Christian, is accused of sexual assault and battery that allegedly occurred in 2022 on a yacht chartered by his father in a 2024 lawsuit. He and his brother Justin were handcuffed during the raid on their father’s mansion that led to his arrest in September 2024.
Dallas Austin
Austin is a record producer who dated Combs’ ex-girlfriend and mother of some of his children, Kim Porter. She died at age 47 in 2018.
Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura
An ex-girlfriend of Combs who was also an artist for his music label, Ventura testified in Combs’ trial last week.

In March 2024, CNN obtained video footage from the InterContinental hotel in Los Angeles from March 2016 that reportedly showed Combs chasing down and violently assaulting Ventura. Video of that incident was shown to the jury earlier this week.
Ventura received a monetary settlement from Combs in 2023 after she said he abused her. He apologized for his actions that were caught on camera after the footage went public.
Kid Cudi
The rapper had a romantic interest in Combs’ ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, and Combs allegedly threatened to blow up his car. In February 2012, Cudi’s car caught fire in his driveway, according to Ventura’s lawsuit.
During Ventura’s testimony, she claimed Combs lunged at her with a corkscrew and kicked her in the back when Combs found out she was dating Kid Cudi.
The rapper testified himself, telling the jury he believed Combs was behind the car fire.
Michael B. Jordan
The actor once dated Ventura, and their relationship was referenced in her lawsuit.
Aubrey O’Day
A former member of Danity Kane, O’Day has been outspoken about Combs, calling him a “soulless man” and saying the working conditions for the girl group were toxic. O’Day once said Combs’ alleged “mistreatment was enough to have changed the course and direction of my entire life.”
Dawn Richard
Another former member of Combs’ pop group Danity Kane, Richard is suing him in a civil case for sexual abuse, inhuman working conditions and has said she witnessed him abuse Cassie.
Lisa Bloom, who represents Richard, told Banfield these celebrities’ names could be mentioned, but that they may not necessarily take the stand.
Richard claimed to have seen Combs attack Ventura with a skillet on one occasion, and told the jury she often felt her own life was in jeopardy while working with Combs.
Kalenna Harper
During Combs’ defense team’s cross-examination, Richard had admitted she hoped the group “Diddy Dirty Money” that she was a part of would reunite, for the sake of her friend Harper.
Suge Knight
Combs allegedly armed himself and a bodyguard to confront his rival music producer Suge Knight after one of his “Freak Off” sex parties, his ex-girlfriend Ventura testified last week.
She said Combs left the “Freak Off” at his Los Angeles home to confront Knight, who was allegedly at Mel’s Drive-In, a local landmark diner. It was unclear if Combs actually confronted Knight that day.
Ike Turner
Ventura testified that she once told Combs that he treats her “like Ike” Turner, who was described in Tina Turner’s autobiography as an abusive lover.
Prince
During her testimony, Ventura said she was invited to the artist Prince’s house to perform, telling the jury it was a “once in a lifetime experience,” but she didn’t tell Combs because she knew he wouldn’t let her go.
When she arrived, she testified that she saw Combs with executives from the cable channel BET.
Ventura said Combs followed her to her hotel and beat her after he spotted her at the party.
Kim Porter
Combs’s ex and the mother of three of his children was referenced in the defense team’s cross-examination of Ventura.
Ventura was asked if she knew if Combs was still dating Porter when they first got together. Porter and Combs reportedly broke up in 2007. She died in 2018 of pneumonia.
Ryan Leslie
The defense brought up the singer, whom Ventura dated when she was 18 or 19.
The defense asked about a potential overlap between Ventura’s relationship with Leslie and the time she started dating Combs.
Britney Spears
During cross-examination, Combs’ defense team asked Ventura about her early success as a performer, referencing her 21st birthday, which Spears, Combs and Dallas Austin were said to have attended.
Bruce Willis and Eddie Murphy
While reviewing text messages Ventura sent Combs in court, the defense team noted she asked the hip-hop mogul if they could have more than a sexual relationship, pointing to both Willis and Murphy as examples where they successfully co-parented with the mothers of their children.
Ventura had expressed a desire to be in Combs’ children’s lives after he split with Kim Porter, and Combs’ defense team was attempting to show that Ventura was jealous of the time Combs spent with the mother of three of his kids.
Usher and Ne-Yo
During Dawn Richard’s testimony, she told the jury she witnessed Combs punch Ventura at a restaurant in West Hollywood, and singers Usher and Ne-Yo also saw it happen.
“No one intervened,” Richard testified.
50 Cent
Capricorn Clark testified that she attended an MTV event with Combs, and rapper 50 Cent was in attendance.
Combs and 50 Cent’s manager at the time, Chris Lighty, were in an elevator having a very “serious” conversation about the rapper, Clark told the jury.
“Puff told Chris, because they were having some sort of issue, like I really don’t like all the back and forth, I don’t do that, I like guns,” Clark testified.
50 Cent has been a vocal critic of Combs throughout the investigation and trial, claiming Combs should have taken a plea deal and that he would try to stop a potential pardon from President Donald Trump.
French Montana, Fabolous, and Too Short
Kerry Morgan, the ex-best friend of Ventura, testified that Combs would often introduce Ventura to other artists, including French Montana, Fabolous, and Too Short.
Chris Brown
During her testimony, Morgan was asked about Combs’ jealous tendencies. In particular, the prosecution brought up a time when Ventura reportedly was seen dancing with singer Chris Brown.
She didn’t recall if that particular moment made Combs jealous, but said Ventura’s relationship with Michael B. Jordan did.
Biggie Smalls
During his testimony, Combs’ former assistant George Kapalan noted that Combs made the birthday of Christopher Wallace, the late rapper known as Biggie Smalls and Notorious B.I.G., a paid holiday for his staff.
His birthday was May 21, the day Kapaln first took the stand in the Diddy trial.
Wallace was signed by Combs’ Bad Boy Records in 1993. He was fatally shot in 1997, months after rival rapper Tupac Shakur was shot and killed.

Jennifer Lopez
While on the witness stand, make-up artist Mylah Morales testified she had multiple A-list celebrity clients, including Jennifer Lopez.
Lopez previously dated Combs and was with the rapper in 1999 when he allegedly fired a gun in a club, causing the couple to be arrested.
Rihanna
Morales also testified that Rihanna was another one of her clients and worked with the singer for 13 years.
Later in the trial, Rihanna was mentioned as a competitor during Bryana Bongolan’s testimony.
Wiz Khalifa
While testifying about the projects she worked on with Ventura, Morales mentioned she had done her make-up for several music videos, including a video for the rapper Wiz Khalifa’s song “Black and Yellow.”
Lil Kim
Hair stylist Deonte Nash testified about discussing Ventura’s relationships while he was at the 2015 Revolt Conference in Miami to style rapper Lil Kim’s hair.
Andre Branch
Nash testified to knowing that Ventura had been seeing NFL player Andre Branch, who played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Miami Dolphins.
Derek Roché
As his testimony began, Nash told the jury he worked under the actor Roché before he was hired by Combs.
Rita Ora
Nash testified that after he and Ventura went to a nightclub with Ora, Combs told them they weren’t allowed to go out without his permission.
Machine Gun Kelly
During his testimony, Nash listed artists signed with Bad Boy Records, including the artist Machine Gun Kelly. He also mentioned the group Day26 and French Montana.
Georgina Chapman
The witness who took the stand under the pseudonym “Mia” testified she worked for Chapman prior to working with Combs.

Brad Pitt
Combs’ former assistant “Mia” testified she witnessed him assault Ventura several times, including at the premiere of Brad Pitt’s movie “Killing Them Softly” in 2012.
Rick Ross
During cross-examination of the witness named “Mia,” Combs’ defense team showed a Rick Ross video with the witness in the background as examples of the team’s argument that her time with Combs was positive.
Muhammad Ali
“Mia” was questioned about a social media post saying she was at the boxer’s 70th birthday party with Combs.
Stevie Wonder
“Mia” said at Ali’s birthday, which she attended with Combs, Wonder played piano for the boxer.
R. Kelly
During cross-examination, “Mia” told the jury she had a dream that Combs saved her from R. Kelly, the rapper convicted of racketeering and child sexual exploitation charges in 2022.
Mick Jagger
During her cross-examination, Combs’ defense team showed a test message “Mia” sent in 2020, happily recounting the eight years she worked for Combs, including a situation where she claimed to have rejected Mick Jagger’s offer to take her home.
Madonna
When asked about her career after leaving Combs, “Mia” told the jury she worked with the singer Madonna for eight months as an assistant, also working with her film division.
When the defense asked if Combs helped get her the job, Mia replied, “Absolutely not.”
Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Fabolous and G-Eazy
During cross-examination, “Mia” was asked about the various artists Ventura worked with while she was with Combs, including Nicki Minaj, Fabolous, G-Eazy and Lil Wayne as well as Wiz Khalifa and Rick Ross.
“Mia” told the jury those projects were all done with Combs’ permission.
Judd Apatow
“Mia” was asked to read a series of texts she sent to Combs during her cross-examination, including one where she recommended he watch the Netflix show “Love,” which Apatow helped create.
Chadwick Boseman
In another message read in court, “Mia” mentioned a role for a movie about James Brown that she said Combs auditioned for. Chadwick Boseman got the part over him, she mentioned in her testimony.
Leonardo DiCaprio
A birthday message “Mia” recorded for Combs that was read in court included mentions of several “magical hilarious things,” including drinking champagne on the Eiffel Tower at 4 a.m., “Leo” taking her pink bedazzled Blackberry, a “random underground Baccarat game where Jlolo wouldn’t pay out” and singing with “Jimmy” at Interscope records.
Beyoncé
During her testimony, Bongolan, Ventura’s friend, testified that one of their competitors was the singer Beyoncé.
Ray J
Bongolan testified to the drug use she, Ventura and Combs participated in during their time together, mentioning that one of their drug dealers was named Ray J. She testified that she did not think it was the same person as the singer.
Tiffany Red
During her testimony, Bongolan said she witnessed Combs assault Ventura at her 29th birthday party at a nightclub called the Bline Dragon in West Hollywood. She told the jury Nash, Combs and singer Tiffany Red were in attendance.
Yung Miami
“Jane,” Combs’ ex-girlfriend who testified under a pseudonym, told the jury she was jealous of the relationship Combs had with Yung Miami.
Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal
“Jane” testified that she, Combs and a male escort named Paul had nicknames inspired by the NBA stars, with Combs as Jordan, Jane being Bryant and Paul being O’Neal. Together, they called themselves the “trifecta,” Jane told the jury.
