Elon’s Dad Backs Trump; It Appears Musk Is Softening His Stance

Elon Musk’s own father has expressed praise for President Trump and says he advised his son to ensure their ‘feud’ is resolved.

In an interview with Al Arabiya English’s Global News Today, Elon’s dad Errol Musk stated that the upheaval of the past couple of days is “Just a bump in the road,” and that “it will fizzle out in a few days.”

“I haven’t spoken to him, but I did send him a message, you know, telling him to make sure this fizzles out,” he reiterated.

“I think there’s a bit of tiredness here. But, I would say that, in some ways, you know, it’s good that the older person sees that even at the highest levels, people struggle,” Musk Snr. added.

“You know, it’s not just in your home with your own family, but at all levels, people struggle to find common ground with each other,” he further reasoned.

He continued, “Trump, of course, will prevail because he has been voted in by the majority of the people in America. I’ve just spent three weeks in America.”

“The people are, I would like to say 80%, but actually 100% behind Trump,” Elon’s dad further emphasised.

Meanwhile, there are more signs that Elon is reconsidering his previous outburst, having deleted the X posts in which he claimed Trump is in the Epstein files, and one suggesting Trump be impeached.

Elon also deleted a post where he said he would apologize profusely to Trump “as soon as there is a full dump of the Epstein files.”

Musk also responded to a post by far left Democrat Senator Adam Schiff who said he agreed with Musk on the Trump-backed ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ being “filled with all sorts of hidden and dangerous far-right pork.”

Elon remarked, “Hmm, few things could convince me to reconsider my position more than Adam Schiff agreeing with me!”

Elon also responded simply “Cool,” to a video of JD Vance saying everything will be fine so long as the former DOGE head “chills out a bit” and that Trump has been restrained because he doesn’t want to feud with a big ally.

Musk had also floated the idea of forming a new political party in the United States to represent “the 80% in the middle.”

He put it to a poll and 80% responded favourably that a new party should be formed, prompting the following post:

Musk inferred he would like it to be named the ‘America Party.’

Elon might be reconsidering that idea given that it has attracted the likes of Andrew Yang, an irrelevant failed presidential candidate that everyone had forgotten existed.

After initially saying Musk had gone “crazy,” Trump has said that he has no intentions of speaking with Elon in the immediate future, that “the poor guy has a problem,” and he wishes him well.

The Washington Post is reporting (make of that what you will) that Trump called Musk a “big time drug addict” and that one day he “will pay serious consequences.”

“The relationship with Musk is over.  I don’t want to fix my relationship with Elon,” the Post claims Trump said.
