Liberal Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said in an interview Friday that he thinks about quitting his “crazy job” every day even though he’s got more than a year left in office.
Trudeau said he plans to stick it out until the election but that the job was “tough.”
“I could not be the man I am and abandon the fight at this point,” he said in the interview.
“I think about quitting every day. It’s a crazy job I’m doing, making the personal sacrifices, of course, it’s super tough, it’s super not great at times,” he said.
Trudeau could have been talking about his divorce from wife Sophie Gregoire after 18 years of marriage.
Gregoire, who apparently took up with a pediatric surgeon in Ottawa before their separation even became official, also made public comments recently in which she said women “shouldn’t expect the minimum” in their relationships.
