The most radical members of the Democrat Party are raging mad at a CNN contributor for speaking the God-honest truth.
Shortly after Rep. Ilhan Omar, a member of the so-called “squad,” was interviewed on CNN this Tuesday evening, network contributor Scott Jennings rightly attacked her as “a public relations agent for Hamas sitting in the United States Congress.”
In response, none of the other CNN contributors flinched or complained, likely because they agreed with his blunt assessment.
Listen:
Yet Jennings’ words, however true, triggered a massive whirlwind of backlash from the most radicalized members of the Democrat Party, including virtually every member of the “squad.”
“How on earth is this kind of blatant Islamophobia so casually accepted without pushback? This is shocking,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.
“Scott Jennings’ comments are reminiscent of the anti-Muslim bigotry we saw in the George Bush post-9/11 era,” Rep. Cori Bush added. “It is disgusting and must not be normalized. CNN should denounce this hateful, dangerous and blatant Islamophobia immediately.”
“Blatant Islamophobia has no place in our society — let alone on primetime TV,” Rep. Ayanna Pressley likewise tweeted. “It’s dangerous, unacceptable, and cannot be normalized. Got your back, @IlhanMN.”
“Scott Jennings’ comments are disgustingly racist and Islamophobic,” Rep. Jaamal Bowman tweeted. “Comments like this, especially on national news, are extremely dangerous and fuel anti-muslim hate crimes. CNN should never have him on again! This hatred is unacceptable and cannot be normalized.”
The only “squad” member who remained silent was Rep. Rashida Tlaib, a Democrat of Palestinian ancestry who too often serves as “a public relations agent for Hamas.”
Responding to these tweets and complaints, pro-Israel supporters pounced, obliterating Ocasio-Cortez, Bush, Pressley, and Bowman for once again and quite predictably being on the wrong side of history.

He’s absolutely right and everyone outside of your bubble agrees with him. She’s embarrassing, as are you.

That is not Islamophobia! You have no way of defending the anti Semitic Ilhan attacks on Israel, except to try to shut down those who make factual statement by using the race card! This is all democrats have left!

You and Ilhan are both providing aid and comfort to TERRORISTS.
You are an antisemite and have proven many times over that you have NO MORALS or ETHICS.

Well, Ilhan Omar is basically a public relations agent for Hamas.
So are you, Rashida Tlaib, Cori Bush, and others.
It has absolutely nothing to do with her being Muslim, and everything to do with her being a shill for Hamas terrorists.— Leftism (@LeftismForU) March 14, 2024
absolutely the reality
she is a mouthpiece for Muslim Brotherhood, Funded by Qatar who host and fund Hamasstop gaslighting the world, she has shown us who she is over and over again. How she was on foreign committee in a position to see intelligence should be investigated

Some Democrat organizations and even some radical members of the media also complained about Jennings’ words.
Look:
Disgusting islamophobic & racist comments with no correction or condemnation from @CNN.@CNN should be issuing an apology to @IlhanMN and @ScottJenningsKY shouldn’t have a job.
The normalization of islamophobia like this on CNN is what leads to anti-Muslim hate crimes. https://t.co/u70yvPTuaY

Meanwhile, former MSNBC host Medhi Hasan published a tweet accusing Jennings of perpetrating “disgusting racism and Islamophobia.”
Even the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), a terror-linked pro-Islam organization, cried foul.
“@CNN must condemn Scott Jennings Islamophobic remarks, which fuel attacks on @IlhanMN & the MN Muslim community, leading the nation in mosque attacks. It’s crucial to reprimand Jennings and apologize for spreading such hate. #stop #Islamophobia,” CAIR tweeted.
As mentioned earlier, all this happened after Omar appeared on CNN for a brief interview and called for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict.
She later said she’d support President Joe Biden in November regardless of what happens. After the interview, host Abby Phillip asked Jennings if he was surprised by her willingness to still vote for Biden.
“No, she’s a Democrat — they’re going to vote for Biden,” he said. “I am surprised that in the year of our lord 2024 there is a public relations agent for Hamas sitting in the United States Congress.”
