New York Jets superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers has dominated the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade but appeared headed down an additional avenue prior to retirement.
Rodgers was given the opportunity to enter the world of politics alongside independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who approached him about being his potential running mate, according to the New York Times. Kennedy reportedly talked with the former governor of Minnesota and professional wrestler Jesse Ventura about the opportunity as well.
However, Rodgers is reportedly out of the running, according to The Mediaite’s Diana Falzone. Instead, Kennedy is planning to run with Nicole Shanahan, a Californian attorney who was once married to Google cofounder Sergey Brinn.Â
