CV NEWS FEED // Registration is now open for a reception to honor the patrons of a foundation that aids the spiritual formation of military Catholics.
According to an emailed press release, the Saint John XXIII Foundation’s 2024 Patrons Reception will be held on May 2 in San Antonio, Texas.
CatholicVote previously reported that the Foundation supports the faith lives of military Catholics as well as helps pay for the education and formation of seminarians who will become Catholic military chaplains.
The Foundation holds an annual reception for its donors, where new patrons will be welcomed and recognized. While the reception is free for patrons, it is also open to non-donors for a fee.
Proceeds from the reception will go to the Foundation’s General Endowed Fund, which helps support the Archdiocese for the Military Services’ ministries.
As CatholicVote reported, Archbishop Timothy Broglio will be honored at the reception as the Foundation’s founding patron and for his “immeasurable impact on the lives of the faithful of the Archdiocese.”Registration for the event is available online.
