Remember when Disney falsely claimed that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s Parental Rights in Education legislation was a “Don’t Say Gay” bill?
Remember when LGBTQ+ Disney employees demanded — and got — concessions from the Mouse House?
Remember that one time when Disney executive producer Latoya Raveneau held an “all hands” meeting to discuss “adding queerness” to the company’s children’s programming in furtherance of its “not-at-all-secret gay agenda”?

Well, forget about all of that, because, according to CEO Bob Iger, it’s not Disney’s job to “advance any kind of agenda.”
During Disney’s annual shareholder meeting on Wednesday, Iger maintained the company’s focus is on entertainment.
“Our job is to entertain first and foremost, and by telling great stories, we continue to have a positive impact on the world and inspire future generations, just as we’ve done for over 100 years,” he stated, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “Disney has always been and will continue to be a source of hope, joy and optimism for people of all ages. We’re committed to telling stories that reflect the world around us and using those stories to entertain people from all walks of life.”
“I’ve always believed that we have a responsibility to do good in the world. But we know our job is not to advance any kind of agenda,” Iger said. “So as long as I’m in the job, I’m going to continue to be guided by a sense of decency and respect. And we will always trust our instincts.”

One shareholder, outspoken detransitioner Chloe Cole, believes Iger is a hypocrite, and she used the annual meeting to tell him so.
As BizPac Review previously reported, Cole, who began exhibiting symptoms of gender dysphoria at age 12, testified last year before Congress that she was “a victim of one of the biggest medical scandals in the history of the United States of America.”
“I was-fast tracked onto puberty blockers and then testosterone. The resulting menopausal-like hot flashes made focusing on school impossible,” she stated. “I still get joint pains and weird pops in my back, but they were far worse when I was on the blockers.”
“Just got off the phone from the @Disney annual shareholders meeting,” Cole announced Wednesday on X. “I needed to call out Bob Iger and the rest of the board’s hypocrisy and the dangerous lies they feed to us through the media.”

“Disney pays for gender transitioning interventions, but not detransitioning care,” she told shareholders.
“Therefore,” she said, “the company discriminates based on gender identity.”
She accused “corporations like Disney” of pushing “to the masses” dangerous views on gender ideology.
After being given a double mastectomy, Cole said that, at 16, she “tried to come back to reality.”
“But it was too late,” she said. “My body has been irreversibly damaged, and, years later, my chest is still in bandages.”
Cole has presented the “Gender-Based Compensation Gaps and Associated Risks” proposal and warned Disney she is “suing those professionals who steered me into taking these destructive steps that have permanently scarred me.”
“But Disney, in its arrogance, has responded to our proposal by stating that I am only trying to ‘generate attention’ for a ‘limited agenda,’” she said. “Mr. Iger, Disney under your watch is pushing the ‘limited agenda’ of gender ideology. Disney has become the Ursula that is stealing the voices of thousands of little Ariels across the world by telling us we can be something that we can never become.”
“The lawsuits are coming, sir,” Cole told Iger. “It’s only a matter of time before current or past employees, whose bodies and lives have been irreversibly harmed, will show up at your door looking for justice and restitution. Please vote FOR Proposal Number 7.”
