As we approach the election this November, politicians, activists, and commentators alike are falling over themselves to declare that their issue of choice is the issue that should drive you to cast your ballot in favor of their preferred candidate.
Democrats will stick to their classic favorites, including democracy, equality, and, of course, the imaginary women’s right to murder their unborn children.
And Republicans will tout their own go-to issues. As hundreds of thousands cross the border every month, completely avoidable crimes have been committed across the country, many of them deadly, with communities descending into unmanageable chaos under the unprecedented weight of so-called undocumented people.
When it comes to other issues, Biden’s messaging team — which, yes, includes the legacy media — might be able to paper over the cracks. But when it comes to inflation and immigration, the Biden campaign’s lies are dead on arrival.
