Taco Bell has been at the top of our minds lately thanks to the massive number of new menu items slated to arrive over the next few months.
From empanadas to Baja Blast flavored gelato to a Taco Bell-ified Choco Taco, the chain has been busy creating new choices.
Now, the chain has yet another menu offering that’s perhaps one of the most exciting yet. Taco Bell officially announced a partnership with Tajín to release three new items.
The catch is that the items are currently only being tested at one location in Irvine, Calif. through March 6. Our sincere hope is that Taco Bell listens to fans and rolls it out nationwide, ASAP.
If you don’t already know what Tajín is, it’s a Mexican seasoning blend that combines red chili spice with citrus, specifically, a blend of chiles de árbol, guajillo and pasilla; dehydrated lime, and sea salt.
It’s not overly spicy, but it packs a flavorful punch. It’s often sprinkled over fresh fruits and vegetables, but it can be used in a variety of ways.
