Travis Tritt Thanks Atlanta Braves For Not Giving In to ‘Wing Nut Cancel Culture’ and Letting Him Sing National Anthem

Country legend Travis Tritt sang the national anthem before Game 6 of the NL Championship Series on last night in Atlanta, GA, a game that the Braves won to send them to the World Series.

After it was announced that he would sing the anthem, many on the left and in the media attempted to get him canceled from performing.

The Major League baseball club held firm, however, and he was able to perform from the stands, albeit with a small technical glitch first.

As the Associated Press noted in their article covering his performance, Tritt recently canceled shows at venues that required a COVID-19 vaccine or mask-wearing.

Tritt had announced his upcoming performance in an early morning tweet yesterday where he said, “FYI – I will be singing our National Anthem for Game 6 of the NLCS in Atlanta tonight between the @Braves and the @Dodgers.”

Liberals descended on the tweet, complaining about his selection and criticize his stance on vaccine mandates.

Following the game and his performance, Tritt took to Twitter and celebrated in a series of tweets.

“So the wing nut cancel culture tried to pressure the Atlanta Braves into forcing me not to sing the National Anthem at Game 6 of the NLCS. I’m so thankful that the @braves did not cave to this pressure and refused to be bullied. Thanks for allowing me to pay tribute to America,” Tritt declared in the first.

Tritt then explained, “Atlanta lost the MLB All Star Game because of left wing morons. More than fitting that half of the World Series games will be played in Atlanta. Karma is a cruel b*tch!”

MLB had moved the All-Star game this year to Denver, CO to protest election integrity bills that were passed in Georgia.

Tritt concluded his celebration by tweeting, “I can’t help but laugh at watching losers cry like babies!” along with three laughing face emojis.

Following his announcement to cancel concerts at venues that had a vaccine mandate, Tritt explained to Fox News’ Tucker Carlson why he made the decision.

“I felt like I had to stand up for freedom … Freedom for all of those people to be able to go out and do what they enjoy doing and enjoy a concert without being harassed,” Tritt insisted.
