You would think that breaking federal immigration law was bad enough. But Liberals in California don’t care about that. They glorify that. So much so that a lawmaker has introduced a bill that would grant illegals convicted of violent crimes with legal assistance, including to avoid deportation.
“Existing law prohibits use of the grant funds to provide legal services to an individual who has been convicted of, or who is currently appealing a conviction for, a violent or serious felony,” the bill text reads. “This bill would remove that prohibition on the use of funds for those individuals.”
This bill was introduced by Assemblymember Reginald Jones-Sawyer, one of the outspoken officials in California’s right to give reparations to people who have never been a slave. And while he is not fighting for the rights of violent illegal felons to avoid deportation, he is fighting to get judges to consider one’s skin color to have more lenient prison sentences. But not every skin color will be considered. Just the ones he likes the best.
Question: What is it called when someone believes race makes them so important that they deserve special treatment? Oh yeah, it’s a racist.
California currently has a shortfall of $73 billion. So anyone with half a brain would think that offering more “free” stuff when the state is in the red, would not be the best financial move. But that is not much of a concern for officials who have decided to alert foreign nationals that the defense of any crimes they may or may not commit, will be paid by on taxpayer’s dime.
It is unclear why this man loathes Americans so much and prefers to put forward laws that benefit the worst members of this society. But Democrats will do just about anything to appease criminals and felons rather than do much of anything for law-abiding citizens. Or any citizen for that matter.
Anyway, what “right” do you think will be awarded to violent illegal things next?
