There is an unspoken rule that if you want to make it in Hollywood, you need to learn to play ball. That mainly means that your time, body, and existence aren’t your own. Oh, and you must be a liberal Democrat who will never go against the party or any of their outlandish agendas. While the rules are well-known, some have tried to be both conservative and a Hollywood icon only to find doors closed and friendships ended over nothing more than an opinion. And although many Hollywood conservatives choose to remain silent until in the voter box, Full House star Candace Cameron Bure recently reflected on being both an actress and conservative in Hollywood.
Deciding to express herself through a video, Bure used the social media platform TikTok to show fans and users that she is not a “villain”. While the video is lip-synced, the 45-year-old actress asked “am I the villain? Is it me? Am I the drama? I don’t think I’m the drama. Maybe I am. Am I the villain? I don’t think I’m the villain.”
Parts of the video that Bure posted were actually taken from when she openly talked about her time on “The View” from 2015-2016. She discussed on the podcast “Behind the Table” how she developed PTSD just from how she was treated by the cast for being a conservative.
“I actually have a pit in my stomach right now. There was only one type of stress that I’ve ever felt in my life, that came from that show. And I [have] PTSD, like, I can feel it. It was so difficult, and to manage that emotional stress was very, very hard.” Bure added, “When I felt like I was going into a show that I didn’t have a clear opinion about or it was something that I was legitimately nervous to talk about because I did have an opinion about it but I knew I was the only one at the table that had my opinion, I would just get sick to my stomach.”
While the Democrats and their liberal followers claim to be acceptable to all people, regardless of color, race, or opinion, the past year has shown that the left is out to ruin any and every conservative in their way.
As for Bure, she recalled how she never knew which host was going to attack her for her personal views and opinions on the country. “I hated that feeling. And then I’m like, ‘I don’t know who’s going to come at me.’”
