Today, we were live from the Supreme Court for a major trial regarding free speech/Big Tech censorship, as Louder with Crowder filed an amicus brief in support of the respondents. Rep. Jim Jordan also filed his own brief and has been very vocal about Section 230.
“When the government does something through a private company – when they are coercing – that is censorship and that is the bottom line,” Jordan said. “This is a fundamental First Amendment case where you have got the government significantly encouraging [censorship].”
After Jordan issued subpoenas it was discovered that Facebook changed its policies because of pressure from the Biden Administration, who wanted certain information censored.
“It’s five companies and they have all made decisions regarding content on the same day. For example, the Hunter Biden story. That cannot be a coincidence. That is ten people on a conference call, right?” Crowder said.
This has gone as far as censoring people who are running against Biden in the primaries.
“If that is not the definition of why the government is not supposed to do this, I don’t know what is,” Jordan said.
Jordan said that he does not believe the Liberal judges will be on the side of stopping censorship and does not see a quick relief coming from the problems that have arisen out of 230.
“The left will tell a lie, the big media will report the lie, big tech will amplify the lie, and then when we try to tell the truth they call us names and that is exactly how it plays out time and time again,” Jordan said. “That is the template but the good news is that more and more people are waking up to the template used by the left.”
How do you expect the judges to rule in this case?
