1. Putin warns the West that Russia is ‘ready’ for nuclear war: ‘Weapons exist in order to use them’:
Fox News – Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday warned the West that his country was ready for a nuclear war and said that he would consider the U.S. sending troops to Ukraine as a significant escalation of the war.
“From a military-technical point of view, we are, of course, ready,” Putin told state media Rossiya-1 television and news agency RIA after he was asked about a potential nuclear war.
The Russian president said he knows the U.S. is aware that deploying troops to Ukraine or on Russian territory would be viewed by Moscow as intervening in the war. He also urged “strategic restraint.” The comments come after the Pentagon announced Tuesday that it is sending approximately $300 million in weapons to Ukraine in its fight against Russia.

Denny’s Insight: Sending U.S. troops to Russia would be the biggest mistake this country has ever made; right next to allowing the border to be wide open for the past few years.
2. 14 House Democrats Vote With GOP To Demand Biden Control The Border:
Daily Wire – A little more than a dozen House Democrats broke ranks and assisted Republicans in passing a resolution on Tuesday denouncing President Joe Biden‘s immigration policies and urging him to take action in lieu of a congressional fix.
Fourteen Democrats joined with all 212 voting Republicans in approving the resolution. Another 193 Democrats voted against the resolution. Thirteen members, including seven Republicans and six Democrats, did not vote.
The 14 defectors included Reps. Don Davis (D-NC), Jared Moskowitz (D-FL), Yadira Caraveo (D-CO), Angie Craig (D-MN), Henry Cuellar (D-TX), Sharice Davids (D-KS), Jared Golden (D-ME), Steven Horsford (D-NV), Greg Landsman (D-OH), Susie Lee (D-NV), Frank Mrvan (D-IN), Mary Peltola (D-AK), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (D-WA), and Eric Sorensen (D-IL).
Denny’s Insight: There’s no need for a damn vote. Biden just needs to order for control of the border and allow our agencies to enforce the laws already on the books, simple as that!
3. Trump wins Hawaii GOP caucus:
The Hill – Former President Trump has won the Republican presidential caucus in Hawaii, according to a projection from Decision Desk HQ.
Trump swept all but one of the states that held Republican contests on Super Tuesday last week, prompting his rival Nikki Haley to drop out and putting him on track for a general election rematch with President Biden, the Democratic frontrunner.

Denny’s Insight: I hope Hawaiians remember at the poll booth this November how the Biden administration gave more monetary effort to Ukraine than they did to the people of Maui during the Lahaina fires…
4. Trump Wins Delegates Needed to Become GOP’s Presumptive Nominee for Third Straight Election:
Breitbart – Donald Trump, whose single turbulent term in the White House transformed the Republican Party, tested the resilience of democratic institutions in the U.S. and threatened alliances abroad, will lead the GOP in a third consecutive presidential election after clinching the nomination Tuesday.
With wins in Georgia, Mississippi and Washington state, Trump surpassed the 1,215-delegate threshold needed to become the presumptive Republican nominee. He’ll formally accept the nomination at the Republican National Convention in July, by which point he could be in the remarkable position of being both a presidential candidate and convicted felon. Trump has been indicted in four separate criminal investigations and his first trial, which centers on payments made to a porn actress, is set to begin March 25 in New York City.
Trump’s victory in the GOP primary ushers in what will almost certainly be an extraordinarily negative general election campaign that will tug at the nation’s already searing political and cultural divides. He’ll face President Joe Biden in the fall, pitting two deeply unpopular figures against each other in a rematch of the 2020 campaign that few voters say they want to experience again.
