Legendary Beach Boys singer Brian Wilson has been spotted in public for the very first time since he was diagnosed with dementia.
Wilson was seen being pushed in a wheelchair at as Lakers basketball game.
He is now 81-years-old.
Wilson’s diagnosis was confirmed earlier in 2024 by two of the star’s representatives who described his diagnosis as a “major neurocognitive disorder.”
A conservatorship has since been filed for Wilson.
Wilson’s family provided a statement to DailyMail.com that said “longtime Wilson family representatives LeeAnn Hard and Jean Sievers will serve as Brian’s co-conservators of the person’ after his seven children, his caregiver and his doctors had determined the move was necessary.”
We are happy to see Wilson out and about at basketball games and making the most of the time he has left.
Dementia is never an easy diagnosis.
We are thankful Wilson has an incredible family to get him through it all.
