WASHINGTON, DC – President Biden has decided the millions of illegal aliens in the United States are not enough and has hired an international organization to seek out and find more migrants to bring into the country.
Biden Hires International Migration Group to Help Bring Expelled Illegal Aliens Back to U.S.https://t.co/s0lk0oM0Qa

The Biden administration announced on Monday that the Family Reunification Task Force has hired an international organization to find illegal aliens, mostly Central America, and bring them back to the United States.
The administration claims the program is designed to reunite migrant families who were separated at the southern border under former President Donald Trump’s strict, “zero-tolerance” policy on illegal border crossings.
A federal task force is launching a new program Monday that officials say will expand efforts to find parents, many of whom are in remote Central American communities, and help them return to the United States, where they will get at least three years of legal residency and other assistance, according to a report in The Boston Globe.
Michelle Brané, executive director of the administration’s Family Reunification Task Force, commented:
“We recognize that we can’t make these families completely whole again. But we want to do everything we can to put them on a path towards a better life.”
The program is contracting with the International Organization for Migration to help locate expelled migrants to return to the United States.
On February 2, 2021, President Biden ordered the formation of the President’s Interagency Task Force on the Reunification of Families Task Force and placed Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas as the Chair.

In addition to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the President’s Interagency Task Force on the Reunification of Families includes the Department of State, Department of Health and Human Services, and the Department of Justice.
The DHS website describes the task force’s mission:
“The Task Force is identifying and implementing comprehensive strategies that will bring families back together and ensure that the children and parents who were intentionally separated from each other are provided support.”
Brané said that about 50 families have been reunited since the task force began, but that 1,000 to 2,000 remain to be located. Brané blames the Trump administration for the difficulty rejoining the families:
“It is it a huge challenge that we are absolutely committed to following through to meet and to do whatever we can to reunify these families.”

The Biden administration has not explained why the reunited families are being permitted to remain inside the United States rather than being expelled to their home countries.
During the Trump administration, illegal border crossers were being prosecuted. Children, who could not be housed with criminals, were separated and transferred to the custody of the Department of health and Human Services.
The minors would them be sent to live with sponsors, often people who were connected to the family.
In 2018, Trump ended the practice.
President Biden’s new task force will search for the families of children in countries including Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, and Brazil. Once located, the International Organization for Migration will help those migrants obtain passports and other travel documents to be brought back to the United States.
Once they arrive in the United States, the administration will provide them with work permits, residency for three years, and support services.
There is already a push by some liberal outlets for migrants to be given permanent legal status to remain inside the United States. Lee Gelernt, deputy director of the ACLU’s immigrant rights project, called the plan an “important first step”:
“Ultimately, we need the families to be given permanent legal status in light of what the United States government deliberately did to these families.”
BREAKING: Our drone is back over the international bridge in Del Rio, TX. Per source, the number of migrants waiting to be processed has now swelled to approx 8,200. It was 4,000 yesterday AM. The ACLU is also working with the administration to provide some form of compensation to the migrants.
Brané said that Secretary Mayorkas made it clear that the country needed to do more:
“He made it very clear that an apology is not enough, that we really need to do a lot more for them and we recognize that.”
The program comes at a time when the United States has more immigrants than any other country in the world. Although most immigrants inside the country are legal, The Pew Research Center found that 23% of the 40 million immigrants living in the U.S. are illegal.
The southern border has seen a rush of illegal crossings since President Biden took office in 2021. The Democratic president’s lax immigration enforcement laws and public calls for leniency for border crossers have fed the influx.
There is no word from the administration on the total cost of the reunitification program to the American taxpayer.

Hundreds of sheriffs call on Biden to complete border wall, stop ‘gangs, guns, dangerous drugs’ from entering America
April 11, 2021
WASHINTON, DC – The Biden administration came under fire from the nation’s sheriffs on Wednesday for failing to control the ongoing border crisis. Hundreds of sheriffs from dozens of states sent a letter to the President pushing him to change course.
Hundreds Of Sheriffs Call On Biden To Finish Trump’s Border Wall, Stop ‘Gangs, Guns, Dangerous Drugs’ Entering U.S.

The letter, signed by 275 sheriffs from 39 states warned the President of dangerous repercussions if he continued to allow illegal immigrants to flow into the country. The letter, released by the Federation for American Immigration Reform, read:
“America’s Sheriffs are deeply troubled about the dangerous impacts your administration’s border policies are having on our citizens, legal residents, and communities. You must act now before our nation’s public safety resources are overwhelmed with the criminal side effects of unchecked illegal immigration, including transnational gangs, guns, dangerous drugs, and human trafficking.”
The United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reported record numbers of illegal immigrants taken into custody at the US-Mexico border. A CBP report released last week showed that 172,331 people were taken into custody trying to enter the country illegally over the southern border in March.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott held a press conference last week to address the overcrowding in detention facilities and accusations that child abuse and neglect of children was happening inside those facilities. The Governor said the Biden administration’s failed immigration policy was causing the problems:
“Earlier today, The Texas Health and Human Services Commission and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services separately received tips that allege child abuse and neglect at the federal government’s Child and Migrant facility at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio behind me.
“These problems are a by-product of President Biden’s open border policies and the lack of planning for the fallout from those disastrous policies.”
In the letter, the sheriffs address the crime associated with the flow of illegals entering the country:
“As this situation continues to evolve, more families will be exposed to the violence associated with drug trafficking and transnational gangs. More parents will suffer the loss of their children, not because they were irresponsible, but because of exposure to criminal illegal alien violence caused by the reckless and irresponsible policies of your administration.
“In a myriad of ways, you and your administration are encouraging and sanctioning lawlessness and the victimization of the people of the United States of America, all in the name of mass illegal immigration.”

The sheriffs did not mince words when appointing blame for the crisis. President Biden’s promises of immigration leniency and reduced immigration enforcement orders are to blame, according to the letter:
“In the interests of ending the undermining of our laws and the increased risks to the safety and security of the people of the United States of America, we respectfully request that you immediately reverse course on your pro-illegal immigration policies, resume the border wall construction, and embrace the common-sense, public-safety-supporting border policies of the previous administration.”

The Biden administration may be listening to some of the criticism coming from law enforcement and members of the right, as some of his policies are taking a step back. For example, the administration is considering a restart of border wall construction on a limited basis.

In a conversation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement last week, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said the administration was considering finishing “gaps in the wall.” According to notes from the ICE session, Mayorkas said:
“It’s not a single answer to a single question. There are different projects that the chief of the Border Patrol has presented and the acting commissioner of CBP presented to me. The president has communicated quite clearly his decision that the emergency that triggered the devotion of DOD funds to the construction of the border wall is ended.
“But that leaves room to make decisions as the administration, as part of the administration, in particular areas of the wall that need renovation, particular projects that need to be finished.”
