The Florida Legislature just wrapped up another productive session.
That means more conservative bills on the desk of Ron DeSantis awaiting his signature.
And Ron DeSantis was grinning from ear to ear when a sheriff gave him this surprising gift.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis traveled to the city of Winter Haven in Polk County to hold a signing ceremony for three bills cracking down on illegal immigration passed by the Florida Legislature.
He was joined by Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, legislators, and officials during the event.
Sheriff calls out politicians and media who downplay border crisis
Judd tore into Democrats and their media allies for trying to dismiss the severity of the historic border crisis created by President Joe Biden.
“Some of the mainstream media, some of the politicians, some of the elites are telling us every day – and they’re saying this often enough, hoping we’ll believe it […] they tell us there isn’t a border crisis,” Judd said. “Have you all heard that? There isn’t a border crisis?”
He said that he had a “BS flag” that he waved when he came across fake news.
“I say BS, so I’ve got – a BS flag. So – I throw the BS flag on that,” Judd said. “Then they tell us – the border is secure. BS! It’s not secure.”

Ron DeSantis presented with a BS flag
Judd gave the Florida governor the BS flag as a present, which put a big grin on his face.
“Governor, you have to deal with a whole lot of BS – I’ve got you your very own, personally autographed BS flag,” Judd said.
DeSantis quipped that the flag would “go for a lot on eBay.”
Florida has been trying to crack down on illegal immigration in the state since the border crisis began in 2021.
DeSantis signed three more bills into law to help stop illegal aliens from coming to his state.
The first bill would increase the criminal penalties for illegal aliens who have been deported from the country but return to Florida and commit a crime.
The Florida Governor said the state will “throw the book” at illegal aliens who commit crimes.
The second bill would prevent Florida municipalities from accepting identification cards issued by cities and counties for illegal aliens that allow them to access government services.
Florida has already banned cities and counties from issuing them but now they can no longer accept ones that were created out of state.
The final bill that he signed increased the penalties for driving without a license.
Ron DeSantis is fighting back against the illegal immigration crisis that Joe Biden created.
