Virtually everywhere former President Donald Trump traveled during his 2016 campaign and while he was in the White House, supporters would turn out in large numbers to greet him with warm, patriotic pride.
Trump’s supporters are also turning out in large numbers to greet President Joe Biden, but with a vastly different message. According to the Washington Examiner, that was evidenced on Monday as the president arrived in the state of Idaho, where hundreds of pro-Trump protesters met him with signs that said things like, “Smell my hair,” and “Traitor Joe.”
The president, who traveled to Idaho on a tour of a handful of western states, was on a mission to speak with governors regarding the outbreak of wildfires and his ideas to use wartime laws to help combat them.
It should be noted that Trump beat Biden in Idaho by some 30 points, and over 1000 of Trump’s supporters that turned out to greet the new president seemed to solidly point to Idaho being a MAGA-heavy state.

The Associated Press spoke with some of the Trump supporters who showed up to protest the 46th president, with one of them explaining why she decided to show up.
“I’m here to support Trump and stand for freedom,” said Lisa Mitchell, adding that she believes Biden “is in there illegally,” referring to his job as president.
A handful of Boise police officers and other law enforcement officials showed up to the protest, but the protest didn’t result in any police involvement.
Against the mandate
The Trump supporters who attended the protest all had similar reasons for being there, one of which appeared to be the recent announcement of Biden’s vaccine mandate for businesses that employ over 100 workers.
“He’s acting like a dictator,” said Trump supporter Chris Burns, adding, “I’m against everything Biden is for.”
Another protester, Michelle Ballon, held a sign that said forced COVID-19 vaccinations are equal to “medical rape.” She told the AP: “I don’t think anybody should be forced to put something in their body.”
A number of members of GOP groups also attended the anti-Biden protest, with many hitting the president for stranding Americans in Afghanistan in his botched U.S. troop pullout last month.
The Idaho protest was just another example proving that Biden, who won the 2020 election with over 80 million votes, doesn’t seem to be liked in large swaths of America.
