House Republicans will take up legislation this week that seeks to support Israel and respond to Iran after the Islamic Republic launched an air attack on Israel over the weekend.
“In light of Iran’s unjustified attack on Israel, the House will move from its previously announced legislative schedule next week to instead consider legislation that supports our ally Israel and holds Iran and its terrorist proxies accountable,” House Majority Whip Steve Scalise wrote on X on Saturday evening.
