Three teens wanted by Swedish authorities in connection with the murder of Mikael Janicki all have a foreign migration background, it has been revealed.
Janicki was shot in the head by a gang on youths last week as he cycled with his 12-year-old son on the way to a local swimming pool in southern Stockholm.
The 39-year-old Pole apparently became embroiled in an altercation with the youths after they shouted threats at him and his son.
The case has shocked the nation and reinvigorated anger over Sweden’s soaring violent crime epidemic and its connection to migrant gangs.
Samnytt reports that an 18-year-old and a 17-year-old boy are wanted for aggravated protection of a criminal, with the actual killer still having not been caught.
“At the same time, a 16-year-old boy is requested to be remanded in custody for aggravated weapons offense – a crime that is said to have nothing to do with the murder but is still under the same criminal case,” reports the news outlet.
All three of the individuals “are Swedish citizens, but have a foreign background,” highlighting again how Sweden’s embrace of mass migration has been an utter disaster for its native population.
One of the wanted teenagers has an older brother who previously served a long prison sentence for his role in an aggravated robbery.
Having been one of the safest countries in Europe 20 years ago before mass uncontrolled immigration, Sweden is now the continent’s second most dangerous in terms of gun crime behind only Croatia.
In 2021, Germany’s Bild newspaper ran the headline: ‘Sweden is the most dangerous country in Europe.’
Last year, authorities considered rolling out the military to police the streets in an effort to quell the spiraling chaos.
