In a hearing led by the House Oversight Committee, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) had an unexpected meltdown as she attempted to grill Hunter Biden’s former partner Tony Bobulinski on what “exactly” are Joe Biden’s crimes.
AOC began, “Is it your testimony today that you personally witnessed President Joe Biden commit a crime?”
But before the witness could respond, the leftist representative cut him off and repeated the same question to Bobulinski, treating Hunter’s former associate like an “idiot.”
Bobulinski then answered, “Yes.”
“What crime have you witnessed?” asked Ocasio-Cortez.
To which the witness clapped back, “How much time do I have to go through it?”
“It is simple,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “You name the crime. Did you watch him steal something?”
“Corruption statutes, Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, conspiracy, and Foreign Agents Registration Act.”
Close to breaking down in tears, AOC gruntled, “What is it? What is it? What is the crime, sir? Specifically!”
“I answered the question—RICO. You’re obviously not familiar—’ said Bobulinski.
At this point, the New York congresswoman loses it, and begins an unhinged rant, saying, “Excuse me, sir, RICO is not a crime.”
“It’s a category!”
Bobulinski retorted,” RICO is a category of crime, that you’re then charged with.”
As the witness tried to talk further, AOC began to talk over him.
“It’s funny, in this committee room—everyone’s not here — there are over 18 lawyers that went to law school. I’ll leave it up to you guys to define the statute,” Bobulinski snapped before AOC interjected again.
AOC exclaimed, “I reclaim my time!”
AOC’s epic meltdown storms social media
Fox News Contributor Joe Concha reacted on X as MSNBC airs the congresswoman’s rant, “And, of course… AOC’s favorite network has her back after she completely and totally embarrassed herself by arguing that RICO is not a crime.”
“AOC [was] broken in the Hunter Biden hearing. So broken in fact, she claims RICO isn’t a crime. Well, empty the jails! Oh, and for the record, all the defendants in the Georgia case brought by Fani Willis fall under RICO. Oops,” Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Texas) quipped.
The Republican-led House Oversight Committee took to X to disprove AOC’s claim, writing, “(HINT: RICO is a federal law codified at 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961-68).”
RICO refers to the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, which targets dishonest business activities such as money laundering as well as organized crime.
In fact, former President Trump was facing the same lawsuit in Georgia, which was headed by disgraced Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
