Pelosi, House Democrats Ask Biden To Extend Eviction Moratorium In Violation Of Supreme Court Ruling

Nancy Pelosi and her merry band of Democrats are urging Biden to ignore the recent Supreme Court ruling that forbids the federal government from extending the deadline without congressional action. They are insisting that Biden act on his own and against a Supreme Court ruling. This is the way it is with marxism. The law does not exist unless the elites want it to exist.

But, prior to the last extension running out, Biden informed Pelosi that congress must act in order to extend the deadline.

Pelosi chose to do nothing instead. But Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Whip James Clyburn, and Assistant Speaker Katherine Clark said an extension wouldn’t receive enough votes in the Senate to pass.

Well, maybe it shouldn’t pass. Landlords have already lost billions in rent due to the moratorium.

Congress has allocated nearly $47 billion for the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program, but the Biden administration failed to distribute most of the money. It is just one more area where Biden has been a complete failure. Most landlords are small ones. and while they are unable to collect the rent owed to them, they still have to pay their mortgage, and do you really believe anyone will be able to catch up on a year’s rent?

We will probably soon see a housing shortage because I cannot see anyone in their right mind investing their money on rental property. Why would you if the government can simply take it away from you without your permission?

From The Daily Caller

The Treasury Department, though, recently said it had failed to distribute the vast majority of the funds Congress gave the program.

“This is a full-scale failure by the Biden Administration,” House Financial Services Committee Ranking Member Patrick McHenry said in a statement to the Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday.

The top Republican repeatedly criticized the administration for its apparent mismanagement of the ERA program ahead of the moratorium’s expiration.

The White House and Pelosi’s office didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

A liberal friend of mine asked me why no one likes Biden as president. I asked her if she meant one reason that sticks out from the hundreds of other reasons or whether she wanted a complete list?
