One of the biggest cable providers in the nation refused to air an ad from an anti-Republican, scandal-ridden PAC that wants to blame COVID-19 deaths on the Fox News network. I guess Trump being out of the spotlight makes a slow news day for worthless cretins so they come up with dumb ideas like this.
Comcast, a major American media conglomerate, has once again decided not to air a paid commercial from The Lincoln Project, a huge donor PAC against conservative Republicans run by a bunch of discarded Republican strategists.
“Is Rupert Murdoch trying to kill Americans?” the latest rejected spot starts out. “The Americans dying from COVID are almost all not vaccinated.”
The ad falsely makes accusations that Fox News is “pushing anti-vax hysteria” showing a clip of Fox News host Laura Ingraham opposing the Biden administration’s proposal to send government employees door-to-door asking Americans if they have been vaccinated. Of course, the administration’s mouthpiece Jen Psaki has said the people who will go door-to-door are not government employees but grassroots volunteers. ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter are grassroots volunteers too.
“These are grassroots voices across the country. They are not members of the government, they are not federal government employees,” Psaki said during a Thursday press briefing. “They are volunteers, they are clergy, they are trusted voices in communities that are playing this role and door-knocking.”
That was a lie, just like the Lincoln Project’s claims saying, “Fox News is helping kill Americans. Call your local television provider and tell them to drop Fox News,” the voiceover says.
“It’s not about politics,” the ad concludes. “It’s about life and death.”
Whenever a group of the Left says it’s not about politics, you can bet the farm it’s all about politics.
The Marxist wannabe’s efforts are all for nothing. Fox recently put out a PSA where they ask Americans to get vaccinated. Of their top hosts, Sean Hannity and Steve Doocy, a co-host of “Fox and Friends,” asked their viewers to do the research and get the COVID-19 jab.
Comcast said nay nay to the PAC’s ad saying that it violates the company’s guidelines for advertising.
“An advertisement may be rejected if it is merely an attack of a personal nature, a direct attack on an individual business, or comment on a private dispute,” the guidelines read, which the Project quoted in a grumpy and petulant press release.
The PAC wrote that “Comcast has repeatedly rejected Lincoln Project ads,” like a radical 60-second ad criticizing Toyota for making donations to the Republican Party.
“Comcast is one of the main sources of Fox News’ revenue and our ad called on Americans to ask their cable carriers to drop the propaganda network,” The Lincoln Project said in a statement after Comcast said “sorry, not sorry.”
“Comcast has made one thing clear: Their bottom line comes before anything else; it comes before democracy; and in this case, it comes before the health and safety of the American people.”
Can you imagine the stupidity of the members of The Lincoln Project? Their timing and messaging explains why they have been discarded by the GOP as losers whose advice amounted to nothing more than a product of grift.
So The Lincoln Project has tried to paint Fox News in a fashion that makes them appear dubious. That’s really funny coming from a group whose co-founder John Weaver used his position to groom young men, offering them jobs for sexual favors. Yikes!
Weaver then suddenly disappeared from the PAC’s website and TLP quickly dropped him like a bad habit.
“John Weaver led a secret life that was built on a foundation of deception at every level. He is a predator, a liar, and an abuser.”
The project tried to make the claim that they too were a victim of Weaver’s predatory behavior stating, “Like so many, we have been betrayed and deceived by John Weaver.”
If the rest of us treated TLP the way they treat those in their crosshairs, we would say that Weaver’s problematic behavior is reflected upon the group. It would force us to say that The Lincoln Project cared more about making $67 million in donations during the 2020 election cycle to get rid of Trump than they do about young men being groomed for sexual exploitation. But we’re not saying that, just pointing out what we would say if we did what TLP always does.
It’s not like Comcast hasn’t been generous to the Republican hating PAC. Last month, Brian Williams of MSNBC, which is owned by Comcast, aired a Lincoln Project commercial titled “Who is Antifa?” where they went on and equated the violent radical anarchist rioters – the Democrat brown shirts who wear black if you will – with World War II veterans on D-Day. That’s the ilk of The Lincoln Project.
TLP’s other co-founder Rick Wilson used Comcast’s rejection to whore himself out for donations.
