1. FDNY reverses course on ‘hunt’ for firefighters who booed Letitia James, cheered Donald Trump:
Fox News – Leaders of the New York City Fire Department have extinguished prospects for a “hunt” for rank-and-file members who jeered the Empire State’s Attorney General Letitia James when she took the stage at a ceremony last week.
“At no point has there been an investigation into members booing,” an FDNY spokesperson told Fox News Wednesday, appearing to contradict reports of an internal email from brass that generated half a week of bad press for the department.
FDNY Chief of Department John Hodgens handed down a fiery list of talking points last week, according to the New York Post, after some members booed James and chanted “Trump! Trump! Trump!” as she took the stage during a promotion ceremony at the Christian Cultural Center in Brooklyn.

Denny’s Insight: Too little too late. It was a major Big Brother of 1984 move. If I were a firefighter, I would be pissed with my leadership protecting James over my brothers and sisters who risk their lives every day to keep the city safe.
2. Kathy Hochul celebrates spirit of immigration when asked about changing sanctuary city laws:
Washington Examiner – Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) suggested that the United States is a nation of immigrants when responding to a question about the growing influx of immigrants to the border, with many making their way to New York.
The New York governor was asked if she would support changing the law to prevent immigrants from flooding major cities in the U.S., such as New York City, Washington, D.C., and Chicago, Illinois. Last month, New York City Mayor Eric Adams renewed a call to change the city’s sanctuary laws because the Big Apple has been one of the top destinations for immigrants.
Denny’s Insight: I will never forgive this woman for destroying my home state. Cuomo took a baseball bat to its knees, but Hochul drove it over with a semi-truck and then reversed over New York’s corpse. I don’t see how this state ever recovers.
3. Boeing plane forced to make emergency landing at LAX after possible mechanical issue:
Fox Business – An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing in California Wednesday evening after its pilot reported a possible mechanical issue, the airline said.
Flight 345, which took off from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, reported the issue with the Boeing 777 plane and ultimately landed at the Los Angeles International Airport at approximately 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday without any incident, American Airlines said in a statement on Thursday.
“The aircraft taxied to the gate under its own power and customers deplaned normally,” it added.
“There are some reports that it was a blown tire, but American is not confirming that,” FOX Business’ Cheryl Casone reported Thursday morning.
Denny’s Insight: Do. NOT. Fly. Boeing.
4. Elon Musk Abruptly Cancels ‘The Don Lemon Show’ on X After Sitting for Program’s First Interview:
Breitbart – Billionaire Elon Musk abruptly canceled “The Don Lemon Show” on his social media network X after the former CNN anchor recorded an interview with the billionaire for its as-yet unaired first episode.
Musk owns X, formerly known as Twitter, and frequently proclaims himself a “free speech absolutist.” In a post on X, the San Francisco-based company said only that after careful consideration, it “decided not to enter into a commercial partnership with the show.” It added that Lemon’s show “is welcome to publish its content on X, without censorship, as we believe in providing a platform for creators to scale their work and connect with new communities.”
In a video posted to X on Wednesday, Lemon declared that “ Elon Musk is mad at me ″ and said he will be airing his interview with the Tesla CEO on YouTube and via podcast on Monday.

is welcome to monetize on this platform, just like everyone else.
What we aren’t going to do is guarantee minimum payments to him, as he was demanding, which would be going beyond everyone else!
Unfortunately, all wants to do is rehash the dying CNN business model “but…

Denny’s Insight: Don Lemon is a moron. CNN gets rid of him, and then Elon Musk gives him an opportunity on Twitter/X. Instead of being grateful, he attacks Musk during his very first interview and then runs back to CNN. Well, it’s better off anyway; Lemon’s content on X would’ve sucked in comparison to the other talents Musk has scored since buying the platform. I don’t blame him for canceling the hosting contract, and as Musk says, Lemon is still free to post on the site as he wishes. What are your thoughts on the Don vs. Elon debate?
