Police arrested the alleged parents of two dead baby boys who were kept in glass jars soaked in liquid in a Hong Kong apartment, after a housekeeper found the jars while cleaning the vacated apartment to ready it for a new tenant.
The bodies did not appear to have any injuries, and no birth records were found of the babies.
The jars found were about 12 inches high. Police also found that the bodies of the infants did not have any visible injuries.
A preliminary autopsy could not determine when they died or a cause of death, but said that the age of both were between 24 and 30 weeks of gestation.
The man and woman arrested were believed to be the former tenants of the apartment and were 24 and 22 years old.
The investigation is ongoing and hopes to answer questions still surrounding the discovery.
