Joe Biden was horribly upset when he learned the harsh reality he’s facing.
He’s going to be held personally accountable in a way he never imagined.
Joe Biden learned about one vote that could turn his life upside down.
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops voted to draft a formal document that would discuss whether pro-abortion politicians should be denied Communion.
Almost 170 out of the 229 bishops voted in favor of the measure, which shows a large amount of support for the measure.
The Catholic Church is plainly against abortion and the Catholic Church teaches that Catholics should not receive Communion when they are “conscious of a grave sin.”
President Joe Biden describes himself as “a practicing Catholic,” and said in 2012 that he believes personally that “life begins at conception.”
Yet as president, Biden is trying to expand abortion to every stage of pregnancy and force taxpayers to foot the bill.
Biden’s stance on abortion is clearly at odds with the teachings that the Catholic Church has held for thousands of years.
On Friday afternoon a reporter questioned the presidenton how he felt, asking, “How do you feel personally about that?”
“That’s a private matter and I don’t think it’s going to happen,” Biden responded.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki avoided questions on Monday, saying the matter is “personal.”
“It’s personal to him,” she added. “He doesn’t see it through a political prism and we’re not going to comment otherwise on the inner workings of the Catholic Church.”
When asked about the subject again, Psaki again deflected, saying, “I think we’re going to move on because I’ve just answered that and it’s personal.”
In 2019 Biden was denied the Communion in a South Carolina church.
“Sadly, this past Sunday, I had to refuse Holy Communion to former Vice President Joe Biden,” Father Robert E. Morey told The Morning News. “Holy Communion signifies we are one with God, each other and the Church. Our actions should reflect that. Any public figure who advocates for abortion places himself or herself outside of Church teaching.”
A House Democrat has implied that the Catholic Church could potentially lose their tax-exempt status if they denied Biden Communion.
“If they’re going to politically weaponize religion by ‘rebuking’ Democrats who support women’s reproductive choice, then a ‘rebuke’ of their tax-exempt status may be in order,” wrote Rep. Jared Huffman, D-Calif., in a Twitter post lashing out at Catholic bishops.
Sixty House Democrats released a “statement of principles” to caution the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops against what they see as “weaponizing” the Eucharist.
Democrats don’t seem to understand that it is the job of the Church to hold their congregants to the moral standards they claim to hold.
