Joe Biden is sitting on a ticking time bomb.
It could be the biggest scandal in American history.
And it’s all threatening to unravel because Tucker Carlson asked one question that could bring down the FBI.
Tucker Carlson set off a firestorm by asking a simple question: Were there FBI informants participating in the January 6 riot at the Capitol?
Carlson cited reporting from Revolver News highlighting the number of unidentified “Person-1” or “Person-2” individuals listed in criminal complaints against alleged rioters and speculated if they were FBI informants.
The corporate media—led by the security state apologists at CNN—pounced on Carlson as a “conspiracy theorist.”
But Carlson held his ground and pointed out the number of unanswered questions surrounding the events of January 6 and the role of FBI informants in what happened on the ground that day.
“Again, we believe the FBI had people on the ground, people who stormed the Capitol and committed crimes while inside. We said that. The FBI has not denied it. In fact, no one from the FBI has even commented on it. They don’t have to, because this time, they have CNN squarely on their side,” Carlson stated.
Carlson pointed out it was vital to know what the FBI knew ahead of time, what it did with that information and if its informants participated in events that day because the Biden administration used January 6 as the cornerstone of a new government policy to put Americans that criticize Joe Biden under surveillance and possibly arrest them.
“In the meantime, though, the Biden administration is not waiting and has declared war on domestic terror. You may be in that category. We know because the administration has released a document called the national strategy for countering domestic terrorism. It reads like a manual for targeting the administration’s political opponents because that’s exactly what it is, and if there is one story you should pay attention to this year, it’s this one. It could affect you,” Carlson added.
Independent—and actual—journalist Glenn Greenwald agreed with Carlson that the unanswered questions about the FBI and January 6 deserved answers given the FBI’s sorry track record.
If the FBI had advanced knowledge of what was being plotted yet did nothing to stop the attack, it raises numerous possibilities about why that is. It could be that they just had yet another “intelligence failure” of the kind that they claimed caused them to miss the 9/11 attack and therefore need massive new surveillance authorities, budget increases, and new Patriot-Act-type laws to fix it. It could be that they allowed the riot to happen because they did not take it seriously enough or because some of them supported the cause behind it, or because they realized that there would be benefits to the security state if it happened. Or it could be that they were using those operatives under their control to plot with, direct, and drive the attack — as they have done so many times in the past — and allowed it to happen out of either negligence or intent.
During the Global War on Terror, the FBI had a nasty habit of trying to entice individuals to agree to take part in terror plots the FBI concocted and then would arrest the person and trumpet the case as a great success in the fight against terrorism.
In Carlson’s monologue he cited the 2015 terror attack in Garland, Texas.
An FBI informant egged on the shooter with text messages and was on the scene when the shooting took place.
Carlson and Greenwald are asking important questions about the FBI and January 6 and they deserve answers.
