Michael Costello, a fashion designer says that his career was ruined by Christy Teigan after a fake Instagram photo made him look like a racist. Teigan is a known bully with a somewhat low I.Q. who has already had to apologize for telling one young woman to kill herself. Teigan and her husband, John Legend are far-leftists to whom the truth is not always present. Costello says that Teigan sent him a message calling him a racist and who successfully got him blacklisted.
She kept up her reign of terror even after Instagram was reputed to be from a disgruntled former employee. He said he sunk into a deep depression and often considered suicide. He tried to get her to call him so he could explain the error but Teigan refused to even acknowledge his request to talk. With this latest report, it appears that online bullying might be a common occurrence for her, but at this time, we do not know that for sure.
In an Instagram post-Monday afternoon, Costello began by writing:
“I didn’t want to do this but I can not be happy until I speak my mind I need to heal and for me to do that I must reveal what I’ve been going through. I wanted to kill myself and I still am traumatized, depressed, and have thoughts of suicide.”
Costello has shared some of the messages Teigan sent him:
“Chrissy, I’ve never called anyone the n-word,” Costello wrote the model. “Those fake images were photoshopped from a former disgruntled employee.”
“Good luck with that lmao,” Teigen replied. “Hope that story keeps your already dead career going.”
Costello: “I am suffering from this more than you can imagine. So many people are attacking me over this. It’s a fake story but your comment is adding more fuel to the fire.”
Teigan: “Good! Racist people like you deserve to suffer and die. You might as well be dead. Your career is over, just watch.”
Costello said she was true to her word and Teigan along with stylist Monica Rose extorted companies by telling them that if they have anything to do in any form with Costello, they would never work with them again.
Teigan has made an apology through the press but has never contacted the woman she tried to get to kill herself.
Teigen, who is married to singer John Legend, wrote, in part:
There is simply no excuse for my past horrible tweets. My targets didn’t deserve them. No one does. Many of them needed empathy, kindness, understanding and support, not my meanness masquerading as a kind of casual, edgy humor.
I was a troll, full stop. And I am so sorry.
That’s not much comfort for the woman and nothing at all to Costello. Should she be banned for cyber bullying?
