The CNN weekly prime time talk show co-hosted by loudmouths Charles Barkley and Gayle King has ended after a short six-month run that failed to produce ratings.
The call-in show “King Charles” aired at 10 in the evening Eastern time on Wednesday nights.
Reruns of the sitcom “Friends” and episodes of “South Park” were absolutely destroying the program in the ratings.
As a matter of fact, even for CNN, the show was an absolute BOMB.
Despite CNN numbers being down in general, this was too low for even them.
It was the lowest-rated prime time weeknight series debut on CNN since at least 2014.
In addition to the brutal viewership ratings, the show was also limited by star Charles Barkley’s hectic schedule.
Even Charles Barkley had previously admitted that his crowded schedule made it difficult for the show to attract even loyal fans of him.
