Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is finding out what it’s like under the spotlight.
What Americans are learning will change everything.
And this secret from Alvin Bragg’s past will leave you speechless.
New York City police officers are speaking out after Alvin Bragg tried to defend a new plan not to prosecute so-called “low-level” criminals because of Bragg’s rugged upbringing on the streets of New York.
“Growing up in Harlem in the 1980s, I saw every side of the criminal justice system from a young age,” Bragg’s memo announcing the new plan to let criminals terrorize New Yorkers read. “Before I was 21 years old, I had a gun pointed at me six times: three by police officers and three by people who were not police officers. I had a knife to my neck, a semi-automatic gun to my head and a homicide victim on my doorstep.”
But Bragg didn’t live a hard-knock life at all.
In fact, Bragg grew up as a child of privilege in a neighborhood home to $2 million brownstones.
Bragg also attended Trinity School – the same elite prep school where tennis icon John McEnroe and Eric Trump graduated from.
“Bragg, the first black Manhattan DA, grew up in Harlem but on one of the safest blocks around, an upper middle-class enclave of brownstones known as Strivers Row, and since age 4 commuted to the elite Trinity School on Manhattan’s Upper West Side – details he conveniently leaves out when he makes his case,” the Daily Mail exclusively reported.
Police officers shook their head at Bragg trying to fabricate some tough guy background to justify putting cops and residents’ lives in danger by giving yet another free pass to criminals.
“He’s made his biography his moral compass, making it seem like there’s something magic about his life story that gives him the wisdom to establish policies that affect over one million people,” one anonymous source told the Daily Mail. “I’m not saying he hasn’t experienced racism, but there’s lots of privilege he leaves out of his story.”
Another officer told the Daily Mail that Bragg is “trying to score cool points in the hood, but he’s not Tupac Shakur. More like Baby Face.”
“He keeps throwing up Harlem, Harlem, Harlem,” a NYPD detective said to the Daily Mail, “but he went to the best schools with a silver spoon in his mouth. When you’re privileged like he is, you don’t go through the troubles that the average kids go through in an urban neighborhood.”
Bragg could clean up New York by enforcing the law.
Mayor Eric Adams recently installed gun scanners in the subway and deployed the National Guard to violate civil liberties by randomly searching the bags of New Yorkers in response to growing fears of crime on the subway.
Bragg could take care of this problem by simply keeping the 38 individuals arrested for subway assault who were linked to 1,152 other crimes in New York in jail.
And Bragg could also focus on real criminals instead of prosecuting Donald Trump for imaginary crimes.
