‘Is this a joke?’ The New York Times has just won the Pulitzer Prize in Public Service … for their coverage of the COVID19 pandemic

The 2021 Pulitzer Prize award winners have been announced, and, unsurprisingly, the New York Times walked away with some major ones.

This is not a drill:

Wow. Congratulations, guys! First the “1619 Project,” now this.

Not an intentional one.

In fairness, we won’t dispute that the New York Times has provided a valuable public service.

That public service just happens to be reminding the public that the mainstream media are trash. As is the Pulitzer Prize, for that matter.
