Tensions between the Biden administration and the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu are reaching a slow-rolling boil over the situation in Gaza.
Facing a reelection campaign that’s critical for the advancement of the left’s transformational agenda, the White House is under intense pressure from its rabidly anti-Semitic base to force a ceasefire before the Hamas terrorists are completely wiped out as Netanyahu refuses to back down.
The special relationship between the U.S. and the critical Middle East ally has now frayed to the point where some fear that the Israeli leader could be the victim of one of the regime change operations that the intelligence community specializes in.
“Those who elect the Prime Minister of Israel are the citizens of Israel and no one else,” one unidentified Israel official said on Tuesday, according to the Washington Examiner which cited “multiple news outlets.”
“Israel is not a protectorate of the USA but an independent and democratic country whose citizens are the ones who elect the government. We expect our friends to act to overthrow the terror regime of Hamas and not the elected government in Israel,” the unnamed official said, with one Israeli outlet stating that the remarks came from “the most senior Israeli political source you can imagine.”
Biden’s desperation to appease his party’s angry pro-Hamas base has soured the relationship between the two leaders with the geriatric Democrat reportedly engaging in profanity-soaked rants about his Israeli counterpart, allegedly referring to Netanyahu as an “a**hole” on multiple occasions as well as a “bad f**king guy” on another.
Last week, the president made headlines when he was caught on a hot mic after his State of the Union speech bragging that he had told Netanyahu that they were going to have a “come to Jesus” meeting.

In an MSNBC interview, Biden also suggested that his “red line” would be if Israel invaded Rafah, a Hamas stronghold in Southern Gaza. The coming policy shift toward Israel was confirmed by three unnamed U.S. officials who told Axios that an “Israeli military operation in Rafah would likely lead to a significant shift in U.S. policy — including an end to the defense of Israel at the United Nations and restrictions on the use of U.S. weapons by Israeli Defense Forces in Gaza.”
Netanyahu wasn’t impressed with Biden’s “red line” and said so in an interview over the weekend, putting the two on a collision course.

“We’ll go there. We’re not going to leave them,” the Israeli leader said. “You know, I have a red line. You know what the red line is? That October 7 doesn’t happen again. Never happens again.”
It would seem that the propaganda campaign to demonize Netanyahu is now fully underway, with one top regime organ making the argument that “Netanyahu is making Israel radioactive” in a Tuesday op-ed by one of its most respected and influential columnists.

“Israel today is in grave danger. With enemies like Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and Iran, Israel should be enjoying the sympathy of much of the world. But it is not. Because of the way Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his extremist coalition have been conducting the war in Gaza and the occupation of the West Bank, Israel is becoming radioactive and diaspora Jewish communities everywhere increasingly insecure,” wrote Thomas Friedman. “I fear it is about to get worse.”
This week, another Biden regime media mouthpiece, CNN reported on an Intelligence Community report that assessed Netanyahu’s “viability as a leader” to be “in jeopardy,” citing the just-released ODNI annual threat assessment.
“Distrust of Netanyahu’s ability to rule has deepened and broadened across the public from its already high levels before the war, and we expect large protests demanding his resignation and new elections,” the report states, according to CNN. “A different, more moderate government is a possibility.”
On Sunday morning, avowed socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) the godfather of “The Squad” seemed to suggest that the time has come for an ouster of Netanyahu.

According to Bernie, the “Netanyahu government cannot continue to run Israel,” strong words from one of the ideological thought leaders of the modern Democratic party who has already accused the Israeli leader of committing “atrocities” in Gaza.
When Sanders disciple Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) led an effort to get over 100,000 Democrats to vote “uncommitted” in last month’s Michigan primary to send a message to Biden, it was a message received by the White House that Biden’s political survival hinges on his ability to reign in Netanyahu.
Would U.S. leadership risk long term reputational damage to the nation with such an audacious move against the leader of an ally? Everything could now be on the table in an election year.
