Trump to speak at North Carolina GOP convention next month, media will not be allowed


According to a new report from the AP former President Trump is set to speak at North Carolina’s annual GOP convention next month on June 2nd.

Media and journalists will not be allowed as the event will be closed according to Livy Polen, a spokeswoman for the NC GOP.

NCGOP Chairman Michael Whatley said in a statement “President Trump delivered real results for North Carolina by rebuilding the military, standing strong against China and unleashing the American Economy.”

He added “we are honored to welcome President Trump to our convention as the Republican Party launches our campaign to retake Congress and the Senate in the 2022 midterms .”
