Joe Rogan says kowtowing to ‘woke’ progressives will result in ‘straight white men’ losing their right to speak

Podcast host Joe Rogan says that “straight white men” will soon lose their rights to speak at all if they bow to progressives.

What are the details?

During a recent discussion with comedian Joe List, Rogan said that cancel culture is too rampant to enter any sort of “edgy” territory when it comes to comedy.

“You can never be woke enough,” Rogan said. “That’s the problem, it keeps going further and further down the line. If you get to the point where you agree to all these demands — it will eventually get to a point where straight white men are not allowed to talk.”

The popular podcaster added that suppression of free thought and expression will become so ingrained in the American psyche that it will be second nature to do as they are told rather than question or speak out against the new norm.

“[They’ll say] it’s your privilege to express yourself when other people of color have been silenced throughout history,” Rogan reasoned.

“You’re not allowed to go outside because so many people were imprisoned for so many years. I mean I’m not joking,” the “Joe Rogan Experience” host added. “It really will get there, it’s that crazy.”

Rogan also pointed out that far too many people are “taking advantage of this weirdness” in popular culture.

“We just gotta be nice to each other, man,” he said. “And there’s a lot of people that are taking advantage of this weirdness in our culture, and then that becomes their thing. Their thing is calling people out for their privilege, calling people out for their position.

“You know, so, it’s f***ing crazy times,” Rogan concluded.

What else?

Earlier this month, Rogan spoke to comedian Dave Chappelle for more than three hours on the topic of “woke” culture.

During the interview, the two discussed the anger provoked by Elon Musk’s recent hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live.”

Of Musk’s appearance, Chappelle said, “I’m torn, because I like a warrior for a good cause, but I’m really into tactics. You’re not gonna nag people into behaving in a way — in fact, if you continue with this tone, even if you’re right, you’ll be very hard to hear.”

Chappelle added that people were likely upset over Musk’s appearance more because he is one of the world’s richest men or because he had the audacity to analyze the COVID-19 pandemic from a “factual, not emotional, perspective.”

“I think the people that are complaining that he’s gonna be on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ I think what’s going on now is they want someone to be 100% compliant to whatever ideology they’re a part of — and any deviation from that is problematic,” Rogan reasoned at the time.
