1. Biden Lashes Out At Allies As He Struggles To Match Up To Trump:
Daily Wire – President Joe Biden is reportedly becoming anxious about his reelection odds against Republican Donald Trump as poll after poll shows Biden struggling against the former president.
Biden has lashed out at allies in strategy meetings and begun to question his intuition as his record fails to draw in more support. The White House and Democratic officials see the president’s primary shortcoming as that of messaging, according to NBC News.
The president believes that his record in the White House should be enough to win reelection if only Americans knew about it. Some see the messaging failure as a responsibility of locally elected Democratic leaders for not championing Biden’s policies enough; others say that the White House bears the blame, according to NBC.
Denny’s Insight: Sleepy Joe is cranky!
2. Speaker Johnson, GOP face crunch time on Ukraine:
The Hill – The House returns to Washington on Tuesday facing heightened urgency to move more military help for Ukraine but with no formal deadline — and no clear strategy — for getting it passed.
The lower chamber is scheduled to be in session for only four days before a two-week holiday recess, and Kyiv’s supporters, including top Democrats in both chambers, are urging Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) to move the additional aid before week’s end.
“We cannot go home for Passover and Easter — we must have this assistance to Ukraine,” former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Sunday in an appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union” program.
The fight in Ukraine is a fight for their democracy – and for democracy in the world.

Denny’s Insight: As we always say, if Democrats could put this much effort into anything else here in America, we would have some issues at least partially fixed. Instead… “Ukraine! Ukraine! Ukraine! Oh and open borders.”
3. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson raises eyebrows with comment that First Amendment ‘hamstrings’ government:
Fox News – In a debate Monday at the Supreme Court challenging the Biden administration’s alleged coordination with Big Tech to censor certain messages, one justice raised eyebrows in her comments about the government’s relationship with the First Amendment.
The case stems from a lawsuit brought by Republican-led states Missouri and Louisiana that accused high-ranking government officials of working with giant social media companies “under the guise of combating misinformation” that ultimately led to censoring speech on topics that included Hunter Biden’s laptop, COVID-19 origins and the efficacy of face masks — which the states argued was a First Amendment violation.
In nearly two hours of oral arguments, the justices debated whether the Biden administration crossed the constitutional line, and whether its outreach efforts with private companies amounted to permissible persuasion or encouragement versus illegal coercion or threats of retaliation.
“It’s got these big clubs available to it, and so it’s treating Facebook and these other platforms like their subordinates,” Justice Samuel Alito said. But Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson took a different approach.
“Your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the federal government in significant ways in the most important time periods,” she told the lawyer representing Louisiana, Missouri and private plaintiffs.
KBJ doubles down: “My biggest concern is that your view has the First Amendment hamstringing the government in significant ways.”
That is, quite literally, the entire point of the First Amendment—of the entire Bill of Rights. pic.twitter.com/gWMCaHDG1W

Denny’s Insight: Wow… let’s just say I’m glad there aren’t eight more of Ketanji Brown Jackson on the Supreme Court. What are your thoughts on her annoyance with the First Amendment’s existence ‘hamstringing’ the government?
