The Left often accuses Conservatives of attacking “Transgender rights” for not wanting males in women-only safe spaces or committing fraud in the sports industry. But in reality, “Transgender rights” are only possible by destroying the civil liberties of women everywhere.
No one knows this better than Riley Gains.
Gaines, along with many other female athletes, were forced to not only share a locker room with a man, but many of them lost out on winning titles for things they dedicated their entire lives to.
All of that was considered illegal not even a decade ago. If a man claimed to be a “woman” and insisted he must undress in the women’s locker room, that would be condemned to the fullest extent. But one day Progressives woke up and decided that that very act was worth being glorified instead.
Sixteen athletes including Riley Gains have filed a lawsuit against the NCAA for violating the 14th Amendment by “destroying female safe spaces.”
Riley Gaines was among the more than a dozen current and former college athletes who filed a lawsuit against the NCAA, the University System of Georgia and others in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia on Thursday.
The athletes alleged the NCAA and those involved in the University System of Georgia of denying them the promises of Title IX and pointed to the NCAA’s transgender participation policy as the catalyst. The lawsuit accuses the defendants of multiple Title IX violations and the right to bodily privacy.
“… The NCAA has simultaneously imposed a radical anti-woman agenda on college sports, reinterpreting Title IX to define women as a testosterone level, permitting men to compete on women’s teams,” the complaint says, “and destroying female safe spaces in women’s locker rooms by authorizing naked men possessing full male genitalia to disrobe in front of non-consenting college women and creating situations in which unwilling female college athletes unwittingly or reluctantly expose their naked or partially clad bodies to males, subjecting women to a loss of their constitutional right to bodily privacy.”
This is probably one of the most baffling parts of the lawsuit: “The NCAA has simultaneously imposed a radical anti-woman agenda on college sports, reinterpreting Title IX to define women as a testosterone level.”
Because while the Left likes to pretend Conservatives are extreme, what they are doing is, arguably, the most “radical” thing to be imposed in modern history. Not only that, it is so anti-women that it’s comical that Liberals like to pretend it’s the Right who want to take away women’s rights.
Allowing “naked men possessing full male genitalia to disrobe in front of non-consenting college women” was never condoned and was considered illegal. It is still illegal but all that man has to do now is claim that he is a she and rather than being arrested he is praised as some hero.
Question: How can an act be glorified if the culprit wants his identity “affirmed,” but illegal if and only if there is no demand to “affirm” one’s identity? It can’t because that is not how morality works.
The complaint adds the “NCAA has aligned with the most radical elements of the so-called diversity, equity, and inclusion agenda on college campuses, facilitating the NCAA’s effort to shore up its flagging on campus approval ratings in furtherance of the NCAA’s relentless drive to monetize collegiate sport, and diverting attention from the financial exploitation of college athletes by NCAA colleges and universities, all at the expense of female student-athletes.”
DEI is radical on its own. But the reason why this is the most radical form is because race is incredibly insignificant, especially compared to gender. And sex is probably the most significant factor in sports.
Athletic fraud is when one circumvents the rules of the sport to gain an unfair advantage. That is exactly what the NCAA is doing by allowing it even though it is destroying women’s sports. And if you ask me, that is the most “radical anti-woman agenda” imposed on society in modern history.
