Trump had declared last July “I am announcing the creation of a monument to the giants of our past. I am signing an executive order to establish the National Guard of American Heroes, a vast outdoor park that will feature the statues of the greatest Americans who ever lived.”

The text of of Trump’s executive order creating the National Garden of American Heroes specified a number of statues that must be included ranging from George Washington to MLK and Antonin Scalia

Susan B. Anthony
Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain
Martin Luther King, Jr.
George S. Patton, Jr.
Harriet Beecher Stowe
Booker T. Washington
Orville and Wilbur Wright
