Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden formed a united front for the first 100 days to ram Joe Biden’s socialist agenda through Congress.
But now cracks are beginning to show.
And all hell broke loose when Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden had this very public fight.
The April jobs report was a gut punch to the Biden administration.
Officials planned a speech by Biden after the Bureau of Labor and Statistics released the report as expectations were that it would show one million jobs created.
That number would have allowed Biden to spike the football and claim his policies led to two million jobs created in two months.
Instead, the disastrous report—which showed just 266,000 jobs created—showed Biden was on track to be a modern-day Jimmy Carter.
Biden went ahead with the speech and tried to gaslight the American people with lies and falsehoods about how a report that was off by nearly 750,000 jobs and was the biggest miss since 1998 was actually a sign of progress.
“And listening to commentators today, as I was getting dressed, you might think that we should be disappointed. But when we passed the American Rescue Plan, I want to remind you everybody, it was designed to help us over the course of a year, not 60 days,” Biden falsely claimed.
One of those commentators that called the jobs plan disappointing was none other than Nancy Pelosi who claimed that the “disappointing report” was somehow evidence that Democrats needed to double down on the socialist policies of paying Americans not to work that depressed job growth.
“The disappointing April jobs report highlights the urgent need to pass President Biden’s American Jobs and Families Plan,” the Speaker said in a Friday statement. “We need to take bold action to Build Back Better from this crisis by investing in our nation, our workers and our families.”
Biden tried to claim the dismal jobs report created by his socialist policies was evidence his agenda put America on the right track.
“Our efforts are starting to work, but the climb is steep, and we still have a long way to go,” Biden added.
But to the contrary, the available metrics showed Biden risks spiraling the American economy into Jimmy Carter-style 1970s hyperinflation.
The Consumer Price Index spiked to warning levels indicating an inflationary cycle was on the way.
CNBC reported, “Economists expect April CPI to rise 0.2% over March, after a gain of 0.6% the month earlier. But on a year-over-year basis, CPI is expected to look sizzling, jumping 3.6%, according to Dow Jones. That compares to 2.6% the month earlier. Excluding food and fuel, CPI is expected to rise by 0.3% on a month-over-month basis.”
The spike in prices for goods like steel, lumber, oil, chicken, ground beef and other products is due to the fact that Joe Biden pumped nearly two trillion dollars of freshly printed fiat currency into the economy.
More money is chasing fewer goods so the dollar’s purchasing power evaporated.
Not only is Biden’s agenda strangling job growth as enhanced unemployment benefits make it more lucrative for workers to stay home, but Biden’s allies in the teachers’ unions kept schools closed which forced parents to choose watching their children over going back to work.
Everyone else is seeing a massive backdoor tax increase as Biden’s pro-inflation policies make their money worthless.
And it’s causing Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden to sing from a different sheet of music.
