A new poll spells more trouble for the Biden campaign’s narratives that the potential return of former President Donald J. Trump to the White House would be disastrous for the country.
The problem with regime propaganda is that the lies are now so frequent that they are having a diminishing return with voters completely rejecting the falsehoods churned out by the geriatric Democrat and his allies and the New York Times-Siena College survey could be a body blow to his reelection hopes.
According to the poll, nearly half of the respondents view Trump’s presidency positively compared to only a quarter who believe that Biden’s dismal tenure has been good for America.

“Views of Donald J. Trump’s presidency have become more positive since he left office, bolstering his case for election and posing a risk to President Biden’s strategy of casting his opponent as unfit for the presidency,” the Times said in an article on the poll that was published on Sunday.
“While the memories of Mr. Trump’s tumultuous and chaotic administration have not significantly faded, many voters now have a rosier picture of his handling of the economy, immigration and maintaining law and order. Ahead of the 2020 election, only 39 percent of voters said that the country was better off after Mr. Trump took office. Now, looking back, nearly half say that he improved things during his time as president,” according to the paper.
Biden and his partners in the corrupt media can shovel all of their malarkey about Trump being the second coming of Hitler, a threat to “our democracy” and the leader of an “insurrection” to overthrow the government but real Americans who have been feeling the pain in their pocketbooks as Biden’s inflation eats away at household budgets versus the prosperity under Trump aren’t being fooled.
Trump’s numbers are up from 2020 including a rise of 10 percent for his handling of the economy, 8 percent on law and order, and 9 percent in feeling that he left the country better off. From 2016-2024 the former president is up 11 percent of those who think electing him is a “safe” choice.
The paper quotes one voter identified as a former “Trump hater” who has had a change of heart and now believes “that Mr. Trump’s contentious style helped control crime and maintain order in the country.”
“When he was first running, I was, like, what is this guy even yapping about? Like, what is he even saying? Like, he’s saying all the wrong things,” said Maya Garcia, a 23-year-old restaurant worker from California.
“When he was first running, I was, like, what is this guy even yapping about? Like, what is he even saying? Like, he’s saying all the wrong things,” added Garcia, who voted for Biden in 2020. “But to be honest, if you look deep into his personality, he actually cares about the country.”
“You know at first I didn’t like it. But sometimes we need that type of person in our lives,” she added, telling the outlet that she now plans to back Trump.
“We all had a little bit more money in our pockets when he was in office. I think he gave out more money than any other president that I have had in my lifetime,” said 41-year-old Marecus Maupin, another Biden voter who plans to vote for Trump this year. “It now feels like, although I’m making more, I’m not seeing it.”
Years of persistent inflation as the result of “Bidenomics” along with the illegal alien invasion and international instability driven by Biden’s foreign policy and a loss of U.S. respect on the world stage could be too much to overcome for the deeply unpopular incumbent.
