As a Man Soweth [*POEM*]

As a man soweth, so shall he reap.
You learnt that long ago, my friend.
What you have earned is yours to keep.
You’ll get your wages in the end.

Ask for no more! What’s done is done.
You’ll be brought to your reckoning soon
By the golden claws of the sun,
By the silver fist of the moon.
