RALEIGH – Alongside the PR campaign to vaccinate everyone has been the push for ‘vaccine passports’ as a means to structure reopening, and life in general, around those who’ve taken the jab. Governor Roy Cooper, ever the good Democrat and having proven affection for micromanaging our lives, has flirted with the idea as well.
North Carolina House Republicans, however, want nothing to do with the Orwellian notion of requiring any such vaccine passport regime; sixty-five House Republicans sent Cooper a letter opposing the creation of a “vaccine passport” or any other form of government-required identifications to show proof of COVID-19 vaccinations: [Emphasis added]
