The House on Monday overwhelmingly approved three sanctions bills following Iran’s attack on Israel this past weekend.
Iran launch hundreds of drones and missiles toward Israel in response to a suspected Israeli strike on its embassy in Damascus, Syria, that took out a senior official in the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC).
“In light of Iran’s unjustified attack on Israel, the House will move from its previously announced legislative schedule next week to instead consider legislation that supports our ally Israel and holds Iran and its terrorist proxies accountable,” said House Majority Leader Steve Scalise.
