Biden Admin Released Over 15,000 Illegals Into US on ‘Honor System’

Thousands of illegal aliens have been freed in the United States without notices to appear in court under the Biden administration so far, according to reports.

Border agents have released more than 15,000 migrants into the interior under a de facto ‘honor system,’ which most will almost certainly disregard.

The shocking figure was revealed by Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) during a media call on Monday, the Washington Examiner reports.

“We released over 15,000 individuals without even a notice to appear,” Rep. Cuellar said.

“They’re not going to show up. They’re on the honor system.”

As Examiner reporter Anna Giaritelli notes, it is virtually “unprecedented” for border agents to set migrants free in the U.S. without an order to appear in court at a later date – at minimum – opening them to increased punishment if they’re caught evading immigration directives.

“Historically, when border authorities become overwhelmed, taking more people into custody than they can hold in facilities, those buildings become overcrowded, and families may be released into the country with documents that tell them when and where to appear in court for illegally crossing the border, which is a misdemeanor the first time and a felony anytime thereafter,” Giaritelli explains.

Rep. Cuellar, whose district shares a substantial border with Mexico, has broken ranks with fellow Democrats to raise the alarm about the catastrophic flow of illegal aliens coming into the U.S.

Border agents and local law enforcement recently busted seven stash houses in just over 24 hours in Laredo, which lies in Cuellar’s district.

At least 119 illegal aliens were apprehended during the raids.
