For much of the past year, a group known as No Labels has sought to field a third-party presidential candidate as an alternative to President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
However, one man who had been seen as a potential 2024 contender recently announced that he is dropping out of consideration.
Former Georgia lieutenant governor likened Trump to steroids
According to The Hill, former Georgia Republican Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan made his intentions clear in a statement released on Monday.
“After careful deliberation, I have withdrawn my name from consideration for the No Labels presidential ticket,” The Hill quoted Duncan as saying to The Associated Press.
No Labels founding chair pledges to “find the best bipartisan unity ticket”

“So, we’re not going to announce candidates today, but we do announce that we’re going to announce candidates this spring, and that could be as early as, you know, the calendar of nature,” Lieberman told CNN.
He pledge to “find the best bipartisan unity ticket we can give the American people as the third choice they say they want overwhelmingly because they don’t want to have to choose again between [former President Trump] and [President Biden.]”
